Onus of the included to include the excluded

It is an undeniable truth that in every society, while some are embraced, some are left on the margins. Rooted in long standing systems of privilege, this unequal distribution of opportunity is not incidental. “It is the onus of the included to include the excluded” is not a mere statement, it is a sacred responsibility. When one ignores this duty; one betrays the very principles of justice, compassion, and human dignity upon which fair societies stand.
To be seen, heard, and valued, is where belonging begins. It begins with recognition. Yet, the invisible barriers some face, are overlooked by those who move easily through schools, workplaces, and communities. Historically designed systems to uplift a few, while excluding many, shape this ease, which is seldom earned by merit only.
The result of inequality and prejudice, exclusion is not a natural state. It is about fair access to opportunity and respect, not ability that the excluded lack.
Those who benefit from these unjust structures are the ones responsible to dismantle them. Transformation of systems and the intentional extension of belonging is true inclusion. The sacred promise of equality for all can only then be honored.
