Our students recently showcased their commitment to social justice and inclusivity at the District Interact Leadership Assembly (DILA) held on World Interact Day at Maitreyi College. Members of the school’s Interact Club, together with Team Awaam, performed Ehsaas, a moving play inspired by the life of Dr. Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, which highlights LGBTQI+ rights and the importance of acceptance. This impactful performance won the school second place, reflecting their dedication to social causes. Students also gave presentations on their initiatives from the We Care program, emphasizing the school’s commitment to social welfare. In recognition of their community service, Rotary Club District 3011 presented Tagore International with five bicycles through the ‘Wheels of Opportunity’ project, which will be distributed to students from marginalized sections of society. This event underscores the school’s dedication to fostering inclusivity and supporting those in need.
